Well it has been a while since I've seen any post here so I thought that I would give all of you an update on our situation.

We have located a birth mother that has already had the child (4 week old Boy) that wants to put the child up for adoption. She and the B-Farther are meeting with our Lawyer This afternoon.

My mom knows the B-Mom and has indicated that she is ready to place the child. We are hoping that from this meeting today that we can schedule the consent hearing soon. Once that has happened the child can be placed with us. So if all goes well we could have the baby by the end of the month if not before.

However we are trying to catch up this was a sudden thing and we are now rushing to get all of the paper work in place, Home study, background check etc.

Anyways just thought that I would give you all an update and would love to hear from all of you on how it is going for you.

What exciting news for you! We hope it all works out! You mentioned that you found this birthmom on your own? Are you still working with Brady law and how did that all work out? We put a call into them for some information and I need to call them back again. We are still filling out our paperwork with CASI and I feel like we are dragging out feet...Oh well, we feel like we are "spiritually pregnant" and that our little son or daughter is going to be joining us soon? So I guess we better at least get the home study finished. I'm just not sure that we will be placed with CASI as other options keep popping up. Well just when you think things are changing and there are rays of light at the end of the tunnel, God changes the path that you are on and you have to adjust.

The B-farther, after telling us that he was ready and willing to place with us has changed his tune completely. So at this time the adoption is on hold indeffently. I do not see anything happening with it at this time. Which is to bad the b-farther has no means to raise the child and is not supporting the child at this time at all so the poor b-mother is left trying to take care of this baby.

However the good news is this we are going forward with our home study with Idaho Youth Ranch (that should be completed here in the next month) and then we will be on there infant waiting list. We truly feel that God shut the doors on the last adoption but will open the doors on a new baby for us.

Brady law was good to work with, i would recommend them to you, as for dragging your feet we did for a while and now we are off and running. and Very excited.
