Im in Az too...
Book Antiqua
Hi everyone, Im in Az too. Just found this forum and have been looking to adopt since 98. We are an older couple,w/ adult children, so the agencies here in Tucson dont want us in their programs. We have a private attorney, but we are doing the legwork. He only finalizes the adoptions. We were re-certified in Dec 2002 for 1 more yr, and time is beginning to run out. Have ads in papers but so far no success. Hope I can find some insight here.Take care, Lady |

Wow --that's a long time to be waiting....are you working with attorney Scott Myers?
How old of a child are you looking for? Are you looking for priv adoption only? Or from the state? |

Yes, Scott Myers is our Attorney. We are looking for 0-18 mos.
We are looking anywhere there are leads, and placing ads everywhere. Our Next ad will be out soon. Lady Love |

We just adopted in Tucson. I know a couple of other people who adopted in AZ, too. It's considered a "good" state for adoptions. Have you been putting ads in local papers? We also got several responses to ads we placed in Wyoming (Cheyenne and Caspar).
