Hi I am new to this group, we are from Whatcom County> and we are trying to adopt again. We Are Going through I.C.A.N its an agency in bellingham

The First Time we adopted we used lifetime in California, but they have gotten really big and it takes for ever for them to let you know anything about contracting with them.

We would welcome any Idea's on how to go about thing differently this time!!!

We are also in Whatcom County. I talked to someone at ICAN recently and they sent me some paperwork. It seems like a great agency, although the cost was higher than the agency we worked with on our previous adoption. When we're ready to go for adoption #2 (child #3 - since we have twins), we'll be using the same agency as before.

And yet a 3rd Whatcom County resident here!! I had never heard of that agency until after we contracted with ours.
