I was adopted in the UK in 1958 and believe I am close to finding my birth parents....but need help. My birth mother was English but I believe that she married an American (not my father) and moved to the USA where she still lives (in Tulsa OK I think)Her name is Margaret Joan Hitchcock (nee Bulley) and she would be about 66 yrs old now. My birth father is an American and was stationed in France (visiting the UK) with the USAAF. His name is Isidoro Soto Astran and he is also about 66 yrs old. I believe that He lives in San Antonio TX. In the relevant documents ( I have all of them in my posession) it states that he is of Native American (Apache) background. Livivng in a small town up here in Scotland, this is of great interest to me. I have writen (carefully and sensitively ) to them both but have had no replies at all. I sent some photos to my birth mother and specifically requested that should I have written to the wrong person, that the letter be discarded but the photos returned......still nothing. Of course I do realise the sensitive nature of all of this and though they may simply not wish to contact me at all.....perhaps I simply have the wrong addresses for them. I think i have done all I can from here.and desperately need some help/advise. Thanks for reading this and I'll keep my fingers crossed that I may hear something . Best wishes to you all......Mike
