I don't have alot of info...parents name , Birthmoms birthdate...My bith certificate is in German...Adoption papers are in German translated to english. Just recently decided to see what I could come up with as far as trying to locate anyone from my birth family..It doesn'y matter who...
My brother was also adopted from Germany different family...he was able to locate his birth mother, grandma, two siblings...He flew to Germany with our Dad and met his mom etc...This happened around ten years ago...
I haven't yet asked for his help....

Hi, again. Well, if you ever want any help, just let me know. It can be a scary venture or exciting (and an ongoing venture for me)but however it turns out....it can be satisfying to at least know. Are you close with your brother? Is he still in touch with his family? I think it was wonderful that your Dad went with your brother to Germany.
