Does anyone know if Mexico allows for gender preferences? How recent is your information? Which Mexican states is your information accurate for?

P.S. I realize this is a very limited program and that laws vary between the various Mexican states.

i researched this as an option about a year ago( i live about 2 hours from the border...so it seemed like a logical choice). it is such a limited difficult program i would not reccomend it at all!!!! but, those that do seem to be completing adoptions are doing private adoptions. the expectant mothers typically choose the families...and being limited, i'm guessing if you chose a gender, it might take longer 9than the really long time it already takes.)
