Massachusetts Agencies
Hi folks! My husband and I have just agreed to adopt internationally and are looking for information. Can anyone recommend a quality agency operating in Massachusetts?
Thanks! |

1. Remember that, when you adopt from any country except for Korea, you can use an agency located anywhere in the U.S., as long as you have a local homestudy. So, while it is a good idea to check out agencies located in your state, remember that you have options if you don't find one that is right for you. It is far more important to find an experienced, ethical agency that is responsive to your particular needs and concerns than it is to use an agency in your state.
2. Do not choose an agency until you choose a country. Not all agencies work in all countries, and some agencies that have a strong program in one country will have a mediocre one in another. So pick a country, and maybe a backup country if that country closes or changes its rules while you are in process, and then select an agency that works in that country/those countries. Sharon
