We Got It!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just had to start a new post to let all you Nica adopts out there know that..........the judge finally gave us the adoption decree!! I AM A MOMMY!! Ok, so I have been with my son for 11 weeks now, I am a Mommy already, but now it is official! We are going tomorrow to get the BC and then we will go to the passport agency. Pick up passport on Wednesday, US Consulate on Friday (it is closed Thursday
 ) and then we HOPE to go home on Saturday. HOPE HOPE! Usually nothing happens like it is supposed to, so we will see. But, THERE ARE KIDS COMING OUT OF NICA! I have had such a wonderful experience here, and I am so glad I have gotten to know my son's country this well. I pray for all of you waiting on your children from Nica that you will have a smooth process, and love this country as much as I do. Don't lose hope. There are GREAT things happening here with adoption. I will keep everyone updated on our progress till the end! Thanks for everyone who has posted or PM'd me. It has helped keep me sane!

Hi guys...the greatest news of all. We are going home today. It only took 3 days from getting the adoption decree to get everything together to come home. The passport took the longest; they are no longer doing 1 hour service, and we had to wait 24 hours.
I now feel like I am an expert on Nica adoptions, so please, keep e-mailing me with questions or concerns. I will be back in a few days, when things settle down. Thanks to all!!!
