adoption in Chile...I need answers!!!

I am helping a birthsister search for her sister given up for adoption in Chile...she believes her sister was adopted into the United States, Does anyone have any idea about what the adoptee's and birthparents rights are in Chile? I cant seem to find out much about this. The sister doesnt have very much information, and is unsure on the month and date of birth. Can anyone give me some guidence so I can better help her???

Thumbs up Searching for Birth Family

I don't know if it's helpful, but if she has her birth certficate you can post one or both parents names so that maybe someone in search of that same link will find that name
Good Luck in Your Search,

I was given up for adoption from Chile as well, and am looking for the same thing. If you find out any information, please contact me; I was adopted in 1986.

I can help you. I connected 18 people in this past year with their Chilean birth families. Go to FB or yahoo groups: Chile Adoption Birth Family Search. There is no charge.
Good luck.
Daniela
