Adopting from Nepal?
Hello and Happy Holidays
My husband and I just decided to go ahead with our plan to adopt internationally and chose Nepal as our Country. Anyone else out there pursuing an adoption from this country at this time? I wanted to see if there are others out there so we can share our experiences and maybe even have advice for others. Thanks

 September until 01/09:Researching to find right country and adoption agency for International Adoption. February '09:Finally found right adoption agency, but decided to pursue domestic instead. Now the wait begins.

Nepal Adoption
i live in NJ and looking to find a reliable and reputable agency for Nepal adoption . i 'd like to know if anyone can share their experiences in choosing a agency for Nepal ?

I'm having the "big discussion" with my husband about starting a Nepalese adoption tonight. If all goes well, I will start our application on Monday!

Gimme PINK baby!!! 3/17/08- We are SOOOOOO PINK! 3/27/08- Leaving to go get my baby boy! 3/31/08- Embassy appt 7:15 AM. 4/2/08- HOME!!!!!!! 1/12/09 - We're doing it again! Starting the adoption process in hopes of a Nepalese little girl.  8/18/09 - Home Study completed

 Has any one ever adopt from nepal? I am looking for info. And agency any ideas? please PM me. Any help would be greatly apperciate it. Thanks

Hi Valugirl!
Try going to JCICS2 and clicking on "country information" and then "Nepal". The latest info on adoption from Nepal is there, along with a list of approved agencies. Looks like they are only allowing 10 children to be adopted through each agency per year. So something to ask your agency would be how many people have submitted applications for Nepal so far. The program just opened in January, so you may still be in good running. My agency has a Nepal program, they are at International Adoption: Illien Adoptions International, Inc.. You'll need to contact them personally. Good luck.
