Curious about Taiwan...Diabetes?
I am diabetic and was told by one agency that those in Taiwan would be the determing factor about whether or not I would be considered healthy by their standards. (I have excellent control...)
Does anyone have any knowledge about how this issue or similar chronic conditions are dealt with within the adoption system of Taiwan? Thanks, Amy

Amy, since Taiwan adoption process is not centralized, I think it would depend on the place in Taiwan from which you adopt. For example, there are a few different orphanages, there is a foster care program - I believe each has its own rules. So the best thing would be to first find a US agency and ask about your specific case.
