Where in Asia can singlemen adopt?

Hi
I believe men can adopt in Vietnam. I am looking into Cambodia as I have helped out at a couple of orphanages there and the demand for help is HUGE. But I would like ot know all the countries in Asia. Any help would be gratefully recieved.
My e-mail is singlemaleadoption@hotmail.com if you want to contact me direct.
Thanks
Paul

You might be able to do Taiwan with certain orphanages. Have you tried talking to anyone? I would suggest going to Adopting from Taiwan on yahoo groups and asking my friends over there.. they may be able to help you more.

Paul, if you are an American, you cannot adopt from Cambodia. The U.S. government closed Cambodia to all adoptive families a few years ago, because of endemic corruption.

While Cambodia is not open to Americans, people from other countries can still adopt there. Yes, since the U.S. has been the major source of adoptive families for homeless Cambodian children, the orphanages are more full than they used to be. But the U.S. continues to press the Cambodian government to put better systems in place to prevent the possibility of baby-buying, baby-stealing, visa fraud, and so on. Hopefully, the country will reopen at some point, just as Vietnam has done.
