wanting to adopt from japan
Hi,
My husband and i want to adopt. I was born in Japan because of my father being in the service. I would really like to have a child who is born where i was. Do you know of any agencies that deal with adopting from Japan? Or how i would go about adopting from Japan.

I've seen a few, most of them are for the state of California only. I have heard of one in NJ that's recently started a program in Japan (that serves the whole US), they're called Reaching Out, but I have no idea about them other than their website. They say that the average Japanese adoptioned child is 4 years old.
My husband and I are interested in the Japanese program ourselves, so if you come across any information yourself I'd love to hear it.
