Hi,
I'm a 35 yr old Christian woman from Malaysia. My husband and I are both Malaysians. We have been married for 5 years now and we would like to adopt a baby. We are financially secure and will be able to provide the baby with a loving secure home. This is my first time posting in a public message board. Email us at padzac@hotmail.com. Thank u. Love, PZ |

I'm not sure...
...whether you mean that you are a Malaysian citizen residing in the U.S., a Malaysian citizen currently living in Malaysia, or a U.S. citizen of Malaysian origin wanting to adopt a child from overseas.
If you live in the U.S. and want to adopt from outside the U.S., be aware that the INS will grant adoption visas to qualifying children ONLY IF at least one of the adoptive parents is a U.S. citizen. Adoption visas are not granted to children being adopted by non-citizens. It is very, very difficult for a non-citizen to get permission to complete an overseas adoption. There is an excellent discussion of adoption from Malaysia on the website of the U.S. State Department. Go to http://travel.state.gov/adopt and click on Malaysia at the bottom of the page. Sharon |
