Breast feeding an adopted child!?
I have heard some people talk a bit about being able to breast feed a child they have adopted. We are about to have our fourth son come into our home. He is not born yet, but the doctor is expecting him at any time. He will be a premie at 34 weeks and I want to do what will be best for him. Can anyone give me any info on how I can find out about being able to breast feed him?

There are a lot of websites that are dedicated to just this subject and a very good book to read is BreastFeeding the Adopted Baby by Debra Stewart Peterson. You can also contact a local La Leach and they will most likely have info on this. I have a lot of sites in my favorites if you would like to email me at nshane@newulmtel.net I would be glad to share them with you.
