Adopting siblings children

My husband and I adopted his brothers child 7 years ago. He is now 7 years old. We have had temporary custody of my younger sisters 4 boys for a year, they are ages 10yrs, 9 yrs, 5 yrs, and 22 months. Recently we received permenent custody of my nephews aged 5 years and 22 months. An older sister of ours now has permenent custody of the two older boys. I am about to pull my hair out due to dealing with emotional, and physical abuse these guys dealt with. Both parents in my nephews case used drugs. In my son's case his birth mom did drugs, and his father did not wanthim. I need someone to vent to, someone to help me find the way to explain to these children why they live with me and not mom or dad.
