A book recommendation for everyone here

Hi All. I recently bought this book and have been reading it to my son (4 years old.) I love it so much -- because it's SO easy, through this book, to have conversations with your child about their own adoption story -- and particularly in terms of starting the discussion with them; or in the early stages of discussing it. It's really an uplifting, positive book, and J loves it too.

(Oh, and the part in the reviews about where it shows how babies are born -- seriously -- there is no reason for the negative reviews about that -- it's like one paragraph and a picture, completely harmless -- don't let that detract you!)

Hopefully it will help others too, the way it's help J and I!

Thanks for the recommendation! We have discussed BG's adoption with her all her life, and often have told her the story of the day she came home (which she loves), but I am always looking for more ways to keep the dialogue going.

We are blessed to have an open adoption with her bio mom and younger half-sister, with regular visits. However, since BG's preschool teacher is currently pregnant, BG is having a new difficultly with the idea that she 'grew in bio mom's tummy' but now lives with us. I think this book will be a big help in this area.
