Agency recs in Chicago, IL or Minneapolis for AA adoption
Looking for an agency for our second adoption. Our first agency went up $6,000 and now bmom fees are at risk, so we are looking for a new placing agency.
We are hoping for an AA or bi-racial infant, with an agency that preferably doesn't ask for fees (under about 20k) until match. This would allow us to apply to a few agencies. Thank you for any ideas of agencies in the Chicago or Minneapolis areas! Possibly other midwest cities like Kansas City or DesMoines.

Thank you for the pms I have gotten, still searching! We would also be willing to travel farther if we could find somewhere with very low fees. I know they still exist, it is just finding them!!

You would be correct in thinking there are still some situations that are less expensive; but indeed, you really have to search for them. Have you Googled 'Adoption agencies in (whatever state)". That's a good start. Copy the info, sit down with pen and paper and start phoning those on the listings.
