2 years since approval of home study and only one interview in all this time started the process Spring 2009, approved December 2009

on the flip side, we got an e-mail asking if we'd be available to interview the first week of January for a precious girl we inquired on in November

Hello! I'm going to go ahead and join prematurely. We are still working on getting approved. Only have the home study left. Hoping to be waiting by April.

We have been waiting since June of 2009. We had one failed placement, one failed transition and more matches/near-matches than I counted- maybe 6?

Hoping 2012 is our year. A spring kiddo would be great- right before summer vacation. I'd take the rest of the school year off and have all of the summer.

DS is 4 and we are open to infant through age 3. We are working in our domestic infant program as well as searching through foster-adopt situations.

Still waiting as well. We went live in March 2010, so we have officially been waiting 21 months. We are super open, so the long wait has been very frustrating. We are moving in March so if we don't have a placement by then, we start over in a new state. Here is hoping a little one comes to us (and everyone) soon.

My family just went through an ugly failed match (scam). We are back on the waiting list and updating our homestudy.

Last night, after midnight, we prayed and prayed that his year would be our year for our baby.

I guess we can start joining the waiting list a lil early , we are planning to start doing home studies this month. Siblings- open, race - open , age - under 5 preferred

Ps since we joined the forum last month you people scare me I mean that with as much love and respect as it can be said with but the months and years and years that you all have had to wait scares me I hope we are strong enough to deal with the delays and disappointments.
