Nook or Kindle lending...books on adoption, anyone?

Hi everyone! We're starting the exciting/scary process of learning about adoption, and I've been reading everything I can get my hands on...it's all fascinating! My library doesn't have a lot of resources, and I tend to read books so fast I rarely purchase them (trying to save money anyway), so I thought I'd find out and humbly ask if any of you have any e-books on adoption for the Nook or Kindle you'd be willing to lend out. I'll be happy to return the favor if I ever have any interesting books!

I'm especially interested on domestic infant adoption, so anything related to that, or parenting babies, or adoption in general.

I probably will purchase a few books as we go along in the process, though...any you suggest that were especially helpful to you in your process?

I have a few...

I think I have a few lendable ones. I tried to turn my Nook on, but the battery is low, so I will have to check as soon as it has enough charge to turn it on.

You can also pay for a card at a larger libriary, maybe a neighboring county, and then with the Nook check out those books. Just a thought although I haven't found a ton of Nook books through our rather large libriary system.

I have a good fiction series with an adoption trend running through it. Its historial/romanitc fiction. Not really something I read much but the first book was free and I was so hooked on the series I would look up from reading and wonder who was going to make the butter today!

I have some

Ok, so I just checked and I have a couple that are lendable.

I have "Adoption for Dummies" and "Adopting: Sound Choices, Strong Families" by Irwin Johnson.

Let me know if you're interested. Send me a PM with your email address. I have never lent books before on my Nook, so I think all is needed is an email address, correct?

Excellent, thanks so much! I appreciate it. Yeah, I've checked the digital library resources in my area, and they really stink. Not a single adoption book! I'll PM you.

I have "The Kid" by Dan Savage. Not necessarily informative, and it's definitely not for people who are offended by swearing and graphic details of, um, stuff. But it's a fun read. It's nice to read a book that actually SAYS what we are all thinking during the process.

Wouldn't it be fun just to post books that we have on our Kindles or Nooks that are lendable even though they are not adoption related?
