Birthmother gift,poem ideas
Hi everyone, we have been matched with a e-mom who is due any day now. I was wondering what would be a good gift to bring her. Also, if we give her jewelry of some sort I would like to get a nice box with an engraved poem or saying. Do you have any ideas about what to write? Thanks!

Hi babycrazy. I don't have any ideas about a poem or engraving, but I've bought my emom a half-heart necklace. I'm giving her half, and keeping the other half for the baby for when he's older. It's also the kind opens up and you can put something really tiny in both halves. I'm not sure what I'm going to put in the half I give to her. I'm also thinking about getting it to her now, instead of in the hospital (she's due any day now too), so that if she wants to give me something to put in it for the baby before we all leave the hospital, she can.
Anyway, I don't know if that idea helps you any with what gift to give. I'll also be interested to see if anyone else knows of any appropriate poems or sayings as well. (And congratulations on your upcoming baby!)
