It's About Time!
Once again, it's been ages since I've posted, but I thought those of you who remembered me would like to hear an update! The 3 foster kids' case was TPR'ed in May, but the bio. mom appealed. Absolutely no movement was made in the case for several months. Suddenly, in October, the bio. mom's attorney filed to abandon the petition. The judge granted it and the kids were FINALLY legally free for adoption! I filed my final paperwork and had been waiting the last three weeks to get the court date, which finally arrived today... December 23rd!!! My friend who has two of their siblings is finalizing her adoption at the same time (the judge let us schedule together so the siblings could be together for this!)
YAY! It had been a loooong wait (they were placed with me August of 07) so it's so nice to see this finally come to a happy ending!
