Google ARND.

Alcohol-related Neurodevelopmental Disorder

That's what our ds has been diagnosed with. He does not exhibit enough physical markers for full-blown FAS, but has definitely been exposed to and affected by alcohol prenatally.

What I have read, Neurobehavioral disorder is behavior problems associated with some type of brain disorder due to trauma or brain injury. Brain injury would be like baby shaken syndrome. Trauma includes drugs and alcohol exposure. Behavior issues can be violent temper tantrums, impulse issues (many behavior that is seen with FAS). I would read on FAS and Alcohol-related Neurodevelopmental Disorder (ARND) and you probably find more info. You will also find the behavior that can be seen. My youngest ds was diagnosed with ARND. Same as the pp above, my ds does not have facial features of FAS.

Our son is said to have sentinel physical findings and it found to be alcohol exposed. I guess where I am TOTALLY confused is the actual diagnosis. We were told at the eval FASD, but no where in the paper work does it say that.
