*Adoption Songs* (PIOG)
I'm looking for songs about adoption, I am making a DVD slide show to play at our adoption party and share with family, but I'm trying to find some really good adoption songs to set it to. I would like them to be from an adoptive parent or a child perspective, if possible. Do you have a favorite or know any good one? Thank

We love "Child of My Heart"....my 4 year old DD goes around singing it all the time...If you google Becky Wright you will find it plus others like "Thank you for giving me a chance" young girl and becky wright are singing it...its good to...any questions you may PM me....Congrats and Goodluck!!

Our First Journey Through Embryo Donation/Adoption 2002-2005: Several failed IUIs, IVFs and miscarriages. Early 2004: Started dating DP January - March 2005: Started researching adoption and heard about embryo donation March 1st 2005: Home study application is sent to agency July 9, 2005: I'm officially waiting to matched April 8, 2006: "Married" DP November 25th 2007: Matched with Firefly's embryos December 19th 2007: First embryo transfer with two grade A embryos = Big Fat Negative January 21, 2008: Second embryo transfer with two A Grade embryos = Big Fat Positive!! October 25th 2008: Firefly is born!!

This isn't specifically 'adoption'....but as I can recall, only one phrase might be more about biological than 'adoption, KWIM?
"Isn't she lovely!"......Stevie Wonder This song was playing a lot when we adopted our first baby. Upbeat and joyful and we applied it a lot to our own adoption. Sincerely, Linny

I went looking for the previously mentioned Becky Wright song and found she has several others relating to adoption. Don't have time rigth now, but might be worth checking out!
