It's Wendy's Frosty Time again! Supports Dave Thomas Foundation
After DD's ped's checkup yesterday (and 2 shots!) I took her to Wendy's for ice cream. I had totally forgotten that they do this...
For $1 (charitable donation so no tax) you get a book of coupons good for 10 free junior frostys (10 coupons). They are halloween themed and are valid Nov 1 through February 1. I bought 6 packs of them and plan to mail some to nieces/nephews as a halloween surprise and then pass some out in lieu of candy. Proceeds go to Dave Thomas foundation which supports adoption through foster care.

Do all Wendy's do this? I'd so buy a bunch of them for Halloween!

Not sure. Ours at the local mall food court did. It's such a good deal! 10 cents per "coupon" is worth it to give out instead of candy considering that it can be used for a nice treat anytime for the next few months (rather than candy which seems to get eaten or tossed within days) and even if it gets tossed out the $$ goes to a charity I believe in either way! I plan to go back and get a few more booklets--I was just low on cash and didn't want to mess with plastic yesterday.

Are you sure there are 10 coupons in the booklet? I just called and the local Wendys has them but there are only 5 coupon in there. Which is still pretty good at $.20 each.

I'm so excited, I'm going to go to Wendy's this weekend and see if they are doing it around us! This will be great to give out at Halloween!

Started our adoption journey on 12/30/07 We were Chosen by Birthmom- 11/24/08 Baby girl born 12/7-we were there for her birth  Finalized 4/17  The m/c's, the infertility, the waiting, the failed matches, it has all been worth it to have our beautiful baby S. She was meant to be ours we just had to wait for her to come along! Our God is so Good!!!
