Unusual photos/camera angles

So I admit I am the world's worst photographer... add that to the fact that I have a fancy camera and don't know how to use it, and voila, a bunch of mediocre pictures!! But I love them. But anyway, lately I've been trying to get my kids from unusual angles and vantage points. I got these cute ones of A by holding the camera below her level of vision and snapping.
What unusual poses, angles, or other different pics can you show me of your kiddos?

Am I wrong or didn't you have a very unique and beautiful picture of your baby in a teacup (plant holder) a while back. I thought you were a photographer, if I have the wrong person, then GREAT shots on this one.

I was the tea cup person...Ty was in it I do photography on the side sort of.

I don't have the color edit of this one though.

I think anything eye level or lower works best for kids. For the most part, I try not to shoot them from above.

So cute, both of you

I remember seeing that teacup photo before too. Wish I had thought of that when my kids were tiny. I don't recall noticing A's dimples before. Adorable!

I too have a fancy camera and rarely get a good one. I think this one came out kind of cool! I mean the kids gonna be 4 every day for the whole year but I thought it was important that we memorialize that I baked!

The first one is my all time favorite of DD, taken with DH's iphone when he first got it when she was 3 and a half. I love both the look she has and the angle.

The others are a little off topic, but I love the angles and DD took them herself with her Fisher Price camera....We have lots of pictures of her own feet, the ones here are from her viewpoint angle in the back of the car one day when she was 3 yrs old. And one is of the dog smiling at her, and one of a screensaver we have of her. I thought it was a cute compilation of pictures she took herself.

LOVE all the pics!! Keep them coming!

I want to get DD a camera. I think she would LOVE taking all sorts of funky pics and I'm sure some of them could pass as fancy abstract!

Almost all of DDs are what we think can be "fancy abstract" I love looking at pictures from a kids view. The Fisher Price camera is digital, and has a rubber cover around it. They can delete whatever they want, and it turns off after a few minutes of non use. It obviously does not have a zoom or anything fancy, but she loves toting it around with her.
We probably have 20 pictures of her feet..taken on purpose. And lots of fun angles.

Don't know if this qualifies as an "unusual angle"! LOL But I take a lot of photos from the back.

Here's one I took of my oldest. I wanted to show how she'd graduated from diapers to the potty, but I didn't want a picture of her naked behind on the potty. So I sat her, in shorts, on the potty and took pictures until she (and her father) thought I was nutso. But I really like how it turned out.

Oceania- I love taking pics from the from laying on the floor with the camera. I have gotten some really cool ones. Its an interesting prospective. The do some amazing angle photos as well. But I had some cute pictures went to look for them to upload because the werent kid faces and apprently they have deleted them too.

Oh and I have the vtech kid camera for the daycare kids. OH VEY!!!! The camera got put away for like 3 weeks after the second day. They maxed out the memory in it after about 2 hours even with the 2gb memory card. The vtech has capability for a card. When I went to delete some pictures the second day I started getting nakey pictures with it. The kids were taking pictures of me changing diapers and then being silly with their shirts over their head.

Colage.

I saw the neatest collage at Walmart yesterday. They had taken pictures of this baby, all in black and white and put them in a grid of 9 square pictures. Some of them were traditional looking, with his face, some were just part of his face, one was his ear and one was his hand. So cute, but kind of hard to describe.

Oh yes! I have lots of weird perspective photos of my kids. It cracks me up to take them, and as you can tell, they tend to get tired of mom and her camera in their faces.
