These poor people.....took innocent bathtub pics of their kids (same pics I've taken a hundred times) and a Wal Mart worker turns them in and.....well watch this:

This is outrageous! First, this just confirms my refusal to give WallyWorld a penny of my money. Next, the fact that the authorities subjected these children to medical exams and separation from their parents based on bathtub pictures says a lot about the perverted mindset of the police and attorneys on the case.

God, this makes me feel ill. This poor family.

That is just heart breaking and frightening. I couldn't believe a detective said the pictures in the towel were 'child erotica'. Ludicrous. I'm glad those parents are suing. I would be too.

OMG, how shocking! I would literally go crazy if my daughter was taken away. We always order pics through Snapfish (upload digital pics to the website), and I've never thought anything about the bathtub pics. We always retain our DD's modesty in the pics anyway

Thank goodness for scanners & home computers. Seriously. I've taken more revealing pics than those and I assure you they are NOT porn. Embarrassing blackmail during teendom maybe, but porn? C'mon. Watch..now I'll get busted for having pics of a child's butt as he ran naked through the house.

I can't believe it took a MONTH of these girls being out of the home for someone to figure out that these pictures were not child porn or erotica...

Having been involved with DSS some...investigations are supposed to take 10 days last thing I knew...so was this investigation founded? It said the parents had to register as sex offenders??

Insanity. Children die all the time because they are abused, other children sit waiting to be adopted and are falling through the cracks because Social Services is so "overworked"...but they have time for this nonsense? I guess we should hope that more parents who abuse their kids take pictures and get them developed at Walmart...apparently that's the only way to get DSS attention...

Naked pictures, regardless of age, are not necessarily porn IMO. A few years back at the largest festival in our area there was a big to do about a photo entered into an art contest of a completely nude pre-adolescent girl shot from the back standing in a field of daisies. It was a stunning picture, but at the end of the day, enough people were bothered by it that the judges removed the picture from display. As far as I know, no one went as far as to report the picture to the authorities as “child porn”, but plenty of people were saying inflammatory things. At the time I thought, “Wow, that says a lot about YOU!”

Oh, I have so many things to say, and I won't be able to articulate them all. This is RIDICULOUS!!!

I do feel the need to say that I am a (VERY) tiny bit glad that the Walmart worker reported it. If any of us suspects abuse, it is our duty to the children to report it. More people need to report REAL abuse. It is just a shame that THIS was reported, as it obviously wasn't abuse.

Oh, how awful for this family. I, too, wonder why it took so long to get their children back. In our circuit, when a child is removed from the home, there is a court date in 48 or 72 hours to determine if the child should remain in state care. Was that done in this case? (I admit I was distracted during part of the video and may have missed some important info.)

People are just sick if they see THOSE pics and jump to "child porn" in their head. THOSE pictures had towels, for crying out loud! I was expected to see naked kids playing in the tub.

First ,I don't think these peoples kids should have been taken away.
But what age do you think is to old to take naked pictures of your kids? I think 5yr is a little old.

ETA- I found a article online that said the pictures showed "portion or outline or genitalia".

PUBERTY. Before that they are not sexual, they are children! (ok maybe a little before that but you get my point!)

So what about a 5 year old girl in shorts but no top running through sprinklers. Or jumping into a lake with a bare bottom?

They are not sexual to most people ,but what about the perverts out there. I would never send naked pictures of my kids off to be developed by a stranger that may find them sexualy appealing. Whose to say they wouldn't make copies and use them as child porn. (o.k maybe I'm paraniod but I still would't do it). If you are going to print them off yourself then that is different.
I have no problem letting kids play in the water naked, but I wouldn't let them do it around strangers.
