OT: Dumb cat

I will try to make this short. Last night I got an old hambugar out of the fridge to be thrown away. DD is in charge of the dishwasher. Instead of putting it down the garbage disposal she left it in the sink. I told her to get back in there and take care of it. I went to put baby A to bed and didn't look in the sink agian. This morning the hamburgar was gone so I thought DD listened to me (I know wishful thinking ). After our walk babay A went to the playroom to play. He came walking into the living room very proud of his new toy. It was the hamburgar . Our stupid cat got in the sink and brought her "catch" to the play room. I guess she ate all she could and left the rest for later. That explains why she didn't came running to eat with the rest of the cats this morning.

LOL! That sounds like something one of my three cats would do! They are pigs!

That made me laugh out loud! We don't have cats and our dog would swallow a hamburger whole!

The only reason one of our dogs didn't eat what the cat left was because the baby gate was up to keep them out of the playroom.

One of my cats once stole a whole ham sandwich from the Hubby, who had dared to leave it on the coffee table to go get his cup of water that he had forgotten.

Turned around, and said cat had ahold of the sandwich by the corner and was dragging it to the floor. "Beached whale" (the nickname for this cat), NEVER ran in her life but was too quick to grab it before she hid under the couch to finish.

Our other kitty knows where the cat food is (under the sink cabinet) and will flick the cabinet door when he's hungry and stare straight at you until you come over to feed him. It's really loud. We're thinking of getting child safety locks for the cabinets just to tick him off some!

We leave the kitchen window open so the cats can get in and out (no litter box). One day the cat jumped in the window from outside with a live mouse in her mouth. She ran across the counter as I tried to shoe her back out the window and dropped the mouse in the toaster!

A stray hamburger would be nothing in our house

A couple months ago our cat (different cat) woke me up in the middle of the night meowing. She rarely meows so I knew something was going on. I got up right before she jumped in bed with a dead mouse. Over the years different cats have brought me baby squirrels, rabbits, snakes, mice and anything else they can catch. Everytime I hear a cat scrach at the door I wonder what they are bringing me this time.

I have had my food stolen by cats a few times. Fluffy (our first baby) didn't even wait for me to walk away. He would reach his paw up and grab food out of my plate. I started putting food on the edge just for him. (he was very spoiled)

!

We have a cat we call "baby seal" (her real name is Tinkerbell) because she is shaped exactly like one.
