Tragic news about "Brandon"
His real name is Angel and he died on 8/11/09 in a horrific accident at home. Hanna found him entangled in the window blind cord during his nap on Sunday, 8/9/09. I had tucked him in about 20 minutes earlier. His bed was on the other side of the room. I had the blind cord tied up in a bow and I didn't think they could reach it. I did CPR and Maire-Kate called 911. They were able to get his heart started but he had severe brain damage. He was air lifted to Children's Hospital. They kept him on life support until they could locate his birthmother. He died early Tuesday morning.

Oh my God. I don't have a clue what to say I am sooo sorry. I know how much you loved him and how devoted you were to him. I remember we talked about how you wanted to decorate his room. I feel like I've been punched reading this and can only imagine how you must feel. No I can't imagine it. I just can't.
I don't know what to say. I'm so so sorry. I cannot believe this has happened.

I have no words. I cannot imagine the pain your family is facing right now. Please consider getting some counseling or support for sweet Hanna and Marie-Kate. You have so much pain of your own, and each of them is certainly suffering in their own ways.
I am so sorry. The loss of a beloved child is more pain than anyone should have to face.
