Open Adoption Can Be Wonderful!
Just thought I would share.....
I got a postcard in the mail today from DD's bmom. We had been to visit with her about 2 weeks ago. So she sent us a postcard because she wanted to thank us for coming to visit her, wanted to tell us how much it meant to her, how much she enjoyed playing with DD and how she thinks we are great parents! It was super touching and makes all the effort totally worth it

JW Jan 2008 found out about birthmom from a coworker  Feb 2008 got in contact with birthmom's adoption agency  March 2008 Started our home study  April 2008 finished our homestudy  April 29th our beautiful baby girl was born!  April 30th got to take her home from the hospital.  Finalized 08/14/2008
