OT: Long time coming......

I can't believe I'm saying this but today our oldest is graduating from college!!! He chose to go to a Tech school which is 13 months year round so at 19 he is going to face the real world. Of course he will still live at home but he'll be getting a full-time j-o-b with benefits soon==my baby is grown! He is graduating as a automotive paint and body specalist with a degree in high tech detail work.
Now if we can get the other two, who just started high shool and kindergarten, through school we'll be home free. 'Course that'll be awhile.

Congratulations to your son. He is on his own much earlier than most young people and he has an advantage. He has a degree in a demanding field and I wish him the best of luck

Thanks Ocean, he is handsome and VERY tall. Would you believe he was born 6 weeks early?! He was actually 19 1/2 inches then and weighed just over 5lbs. Today he weighs about 150 and is 6'4" and still growing. He wears a size 14 shoe! Our almost 15 year old is 2" taller than the oldest was at this age so we'll see where that takes us.

That's awesome, good for him (and family)! To get to this point at 19 he must have a good head on his shoulders. Congrats!
