OT - Last class cake!-Wilton Cake Deco
Okay! Tonight was my last class in Course 1. I had so much fun that I signed up for Course 2, which begins next week!
What do you think?

April 2009 - Looking into signing with an additional agency, since we haven't even been "shown" with our current one  June 2009 - Reluctantly signed with additional agency

Very impressive - if you saw my cake decorating you'd laugh! Think I should sign up for some classes!
Can see why you'd like to continue with class 2. Wonder how fancy they'll get?

02/08: decided to adopt- researching which avenue to pursue!! 4/08: application submitted with agency 6/25/08 - officially waiting 6/28/08 - Matched!! 6/28/08 - it's a girl!! She's born!! 6/29/08- We meet the most beautiful baby girl in the world & the amazing mother that gave birth to her!! 7/9 - ICPC has cleared - we can go home!! 2/17/09- Finalized!!! After dealing with infertility, IVF & a miscarriage I finally realize what God had in store for us! What a joyful time to be alive!

That looks fantastic. I honestly would never be able to do that. I am just not that artistic. lol
My mom's friend took a cake decorating course, and I was blown away by some of the cakes she did. You'd swear she was doing it for years. My sister wants to start the course. I don't know if you have a Michael's craft store there, but that's who offers the course in our area.

mumofone - LOL! I'm not that artistic, either! We all used the picture on the front of the course book as a guide! Otherwise I don't know what it would have looked like!
Mondk - I had to bake a total of four 8 inch cakes. I baked them ahead of time and froze them. You can take the cakes home and/or work or wherever! I can't wait for the next course, because we learn how to work with royal icing and make flowers! Here are three test cakes that I did for my friend. Her little boy wants a Nightmare before Christmas birthday cake. I covered them in fondant and it was easier than I thought it would be! eta : Oops! The picture wouldn't load, am I limited to one pic per thread? I'll try again..
