How big is your 1yr old?

What is your 1yr old (give or take a month) weight and height?

Baby A is 24lbs and 30in

Some people think he is much older then 13mo due to his size.

I just tried to weigh Athena and measure her height at home... I don't think I was exactly successful (these are only estimates) but those are her exact measurements and she is 12 and a half months old!
Let me add that she is in an 18 month size for clothes. She has to go for her doctor visit and shots soon so I'll have more exact figures. :-(

My kids were both tiny due to their genetic make up. But funny thing, people would tell me how "huge" they were or how "tiny" they were at random times. My son is in the 5% for height and was just a little above for weight. People would be like "Wow he is so big for his age" or "oh my he must have a tall daddy". Then sometimes people would talk about how tiny he was. I had been asked twice if he was a "midget". Seriously!

My daughter is taller for her age and very thin so people would always say how huge or how small she was too, but not quite as much as my son. I do get asked if they are twins on a daily basis because they are close in size, so I can understand that.

I think people just throw it out there based on their own child or their memories of how their child was. So I wouldnt let it bother you too much.

It doesn't bother me at all when people say he is big. I am just curious how big other 1yr olds are.

We'll get measured in a couple weeks. She turns a year on Aug. 10. She's about 28 or 29 inches tall and about 17.5 pounds (or 17 pounds. we'll see.) She's been walking full time since June 17.

20.5lbs and 28in tall... she's 13 months old and has been walking full time since 11 months. We're still in 9-12 months clothes for the most part. We've been in them for about 6 months now... LOL

Anya is the exact same size baby A was at 9 mo .

I think he is going through a growth spurt because the past two days he has been asking for "nummy nums" ALL day.

You just named the exact weight and height of my son when he was 10 months old!

He's grown now -- is 18 -- and now stands about 6'1" and weighs 225. BIG guy with really wide shoulders and size 13 shoes...

Yup, babies are like puppies, big paws, big kid. My son also wore a size 5 1/2 shoe at 10 months....LOL.

BTW, the reason I remember those numbers so well is because we adopted him at 10 months old and that was the very first time we saw him, too.

DS is 15 months. He just had his 15 month check-up and he is 31" and 23 pounds. The pediatrician said he is 50th percentile for height and between 25th and 50th for weight, so I guess he's just about average. He still wears mostly 9-12 month clothes, though, especially in pants and shorts because his waist is too tiny to hold the bigger sizes up!

DS was 20 lbs and 28 in at 12 months (if I remember right) and he's at the bottom of the charts. He's now 18 months and 22 lbs/29.75 in and not even in the 5%. Some people think he's tiny, others say, Wow he's big for his age. Whatever...

DH hasn't wore a size 13 shoe since he was 13yrs. He wears size 15 and is only 5ft 11in. I wont say his weight because he would kill me.

Baby A is just now growing into his size 4 sandles.

When Lily was 12 months she weighed 17.1 lbs and was 27.5 inches tall. Now she is 16 months and weighs 18.5 lbs and is 29 inches tall. Kaiden (who will skew everyone's data due to his medical problems) was 13.5 lbs and 26 inches on his 1st bday. He is 21 months now and he weighs 22 lbs and 30 inches tall.
