Carlos Diaz and insenstive adoption comments
This morning on a local radio show in Indianapolis Carlos Diaz made ridiculous comments about adopted children referring to Angelina Jolie and her fake son Maddox. When called out about it from listeners he made no apologies and said he wanted to be offensive. Here's a link to the sound byte. I've already contacted him through facebook. Please do so also! This is crazy!!

Wow - that's unbelievable. I wrote an e-mail to the radio show manager. Imagine how older adopted children felt hearing that. I know as an adoptive mother, it deeply disturbs me, and I know it must disturb birthparents also to hear that. In this day and age I just can't believe someone can be so ignorant and uninformed.

Mad but not surprised....
 Wow...that is horrible...but sadly, it's not surprising...everyone wants to be a "shock jock" these days because that brings them notariety, listeners and ratings...I would also contact the advertisers during the show and complain to them...they don't need/want unpleasant publicity in most cases...if you hit them in the pockets, then they pay attention.... The station manager probably won't do much unless they are inudated with complaints/bad press because again, their ratings are up and they can charge more money for advertising... And a complaint to the FCC wouldn't hurt..probably won't do much but at least you're voice would be heard...

We live in the Indy area, so I just sent in a message to the station about my feelings on what was said about Angelina Jolie's "real kids taking down her fake kids". That takes some nerve!

That is just awefull!! I guess that adds another reason why I stopped listening to that station a few years ago.
I too live in the Indy area and gladley sent my dismay to the radio station and how their lack of respect is appalling!

Thanks for sending your concerns to the station. Carlos tried to tell me that I was the only person on the planet that was offended and that I need to lighten up. He kept deleting my comments from his facebook page because he's "all about love and not hate". Ridiculous!
