Ohio Parents... We need your help
We went to Columbus today for our children. They are cutting funding for our kids.
We’re going to Columbus – Again!
Our work is not nearly complete!
While, today, July 7, approximately 40 children and adults arrived in Columbus to express concerns over the pending elimination of the PASSS Program as well as reductions in adoption subsidies, and we are grateful for this turnout – see Channel 3 coverage - Focus: Adoption advocates warn budget cuts will hurt kids MUCH MORE IS NEEDED!
So, we are going again on Monday, July 13!
We want 200 children, adoptive parents, foster parents, professionals and friends of adoption on the steps of the State Capitol Building on Monday, July 13! Pass this email on! Make phone calls! If you are an adoptive parent, foster parent, foster or adoptive child/teen, adoption professional or friend
of adoption who values,
Ø The PASSS Program (Post-Adoption Special Services Subsidy) Ø Monthly adoption subsidy payments Ø County budgets that support foster care and adoption services THEN, YOU NEED TO JOIN US!
