I really didn't expect this (but who does?). While I may not have approved of a lot of what he did, so many of my memories occurred with his music in the background. RIP

October 25th 2008: Firefly is born!!

This seriously was so sad and unnerving to me. I remember as a kid watching the jackson five and "crushing" on michael. When I first saw the moonwalk, I thought it was magical. He was so enormously talented, and yes so tortured. I am thinking of his kids and family.

My roommate and I like to toss in the DVD "Michael Jackson's number one's" at least once a week and dance around the apartment to his music videos.....it's not gonna be the same now....

Its weird because I havent been a fan in years but I am really sad
MTV is doing a tribute of his music right now. I guess it takes me back to my youth.

Sad, sad day. I loved him as a child. I once wrote him a letter and he read it on an awards show. I'll never forget that. So sad for the world to lose Farrah too.

Nov. 08 Met with 2 agencies. Decided on one. Want to save/earn the adoption fees without incurring any debt if possible. Will wait until April to apply. Praying, praying, praying! Dec. 08 Got foster parent license. First placement FS 7 Mar. 09 Second placement! FS 2-mo. (RU a couple weeks later) Apr. 09 Attended adoption agency orientation meeting. Still working on saving the adoption fees. Jun. 09 Soooo close to getting "signed up" with agencies.

I am so sorry to hear about Michael!! I usually dislike hollywood types but I couldn't help but be a fan of MJ.
I didn't know his kids had a bmom... CNN commentators were saying that the bio mom has no say although none of them were biologically related to MJ.
