I was just wondering the same thing. Thunderstorms woke me up at 6.30am and somehow the kids managed to sleep right through it (how???? it was LOUD!), so there goes my hope that they'd be up early and be able to have two naps (ok, I'm really the one who needs one).

My friend is the best at finding all the indoor play areas around here, but unfortunately they all charge some money, so I'd be broke at the end of the month. Maybe look for story time at the library or some public play rooms?

Fran I wouldn't take him out with his cold and I have it too. No we're stuck at home all day!

Do you have a tile kitchen floor and construction paper or other "big" drawing pads?
Cover that floor, give him the washable finger paints and markers, strip him to his diaper and let him go nuts.
Also, I let DD "color" the bathroom floor with her washables and then I mop.
She has a blast and I end up having to do the cleaning I really should do but never get to.
Oh, a few dining room chairs, some blankets and towels make a great play fort/maze in the living room or wherever.
E won't over exert himself too much with either activity and they should keep him entertained for a little while at least.

Well we watched yo gabba gabba twice, sesame street twice, played with every toy in the house, ate breakfast, and he let me read him Green Eggs and Ham (yay!)

And it's only 10:00

He just went down for nap. We have speech today i'm going to bring him later and just stay in the room and wipe his nose if it runs (when it runs) and wipe the toys he uses.

They can throw us out if they want to!
