Profile HELP

Where did you do your profile? Shutterfly has a minimum of 20 pages and the agency I'm working with says that it should only be 7-8 pages.

I'm running out of time, I need to be able to turn in my profile for a viewing on April 20 and 21.

I made a paper scrapbook and took it to Kinko's and had color copies made and bounded together. I love to scrapbook, so once I picked pics, it only took me a few hours to have it done and at Kinko's. They had it ready for me within 24 hours.

Not sure what the rule is on posting outside links here but you could print it at any place that prints scrapbook pages. My reccomendation would be scrapbooks to share on their most expensive paper. I will pm you the link. But you could also use any local printing company and have it printed on cardstock and bound at office max

I actually did mine through Microsoft Powerpoint - there is a lot you can do with pictures, colors, edges, text, etc. Then I took it to Staples (or any Office Superstore) and had it printed up, spiral bound and they had it back to me that same day.

Good luck!

We did ours on Microsoft Word. I bought nice paper at Office Max, saved our profile on a disk, took the disk to Kinko's and they printed them all out. We just used those portfolio covers you can get at Office Max too to put them in with clear dividers for each page. I thought they turned out really good and we're pretty cost-efficient as far as profiles go.

I did mine by hand and used a local copy place to make copies. It only took 2-3 days once I had all the pics selected.

Suggestion about agency

FamilynotComplete,

Did you ever work with Covenant Care in Macon, GA? Can you PM about your experience with them? Thanks.

For our paper profile, I used Microsoft Publisher--lots of templates to start from and easy to navigate. We scanned in and/or uploaded photos, etc. The learning curve is not steep. For our online profile, we used the basic motif and idea from our paper profile and my dh put the webpage together. Our internet provider had decent templates as well and he built from there. I hope that's what you were asking about. . . susan

I stuck ours together by hand, then took it to Staples and had it copied, laminated, and bound. I think my dad picked it up the day after I dropped it off, but I think it was ready before then.
