I am in Tampa, and it can take ten work days or more, usually depends on you're state, but Florida can be SO SLOW!!!!! Just look at all the traffic! LOL No really... many of my friends who I have seen from this site adopt from FL were here from 5 to 12 work days, weekends didn't count! I hope the wait is not long for you! Where in FL are you? Happy on your placement!
God Bless, Summer

I feel your pain. We had to wait out ICPC in FL in Sept. Our daughter was born in Tallahassee so our papers were hand delivered. We live in GA, and it took about 7 work days to get clearance. Apparently, that's a little slow for FL and GA, but the holdup was on GAs side. We gt so sick of it we ended up driving to Jacksonville just to have a change of scenery and get closer to the beach. Yes, we brought DD to the beach at 1 week old
.Good luck, I'm sure you'll be home soon. J |
