Heart Better Than I Could Have Imagined
I'm in LOVE!! I met my new son yesterday 10 hours after making his entrance into this world. He weighs 6lb and 11oz and has a full head of black hair! He is absolutely perfect - healthy and gorgeous!!

Both birth-parents signed their TPR papers and now we're just waiting on ICPC to tell us to go home with him (and waiting for the hospital to discharge him, of course).

I never imagined being a mother could feel like this...what an amazing God we have and what a wonderful Bmom!!

We are truly blessed!

I'll post pictures and add more information soon!

Nov. 08 Met with 2 agencies. Decided on one. Want to save/earn the adoption fees without incurring any debt if possible. Will wait until April to apply. Praying, praying, praying!

Dec. 08 Got foster parent license. First placement FS 7
Mar. 09 Second placement! FS 2-mo. (RU a couple weeks later)
Apr. 09 Attended adoption agency orientation meeting. Still working on saving the adoption fees.
Jun. 09 Soooo close to getting "signed up" with agencies.

02/08: decided to adopt- researching which avenue to pursue!!
4/08: application submitted with agency
6/25/08 - officially waiting
6/28/08 - Matched!!
6/28/08 - it's a girl!! She's born!!
6/29/08- We meet the most beautiful baby girl in the world & the amazing mother that gave birth to her!!
7/9 - ICPC has cleared - we can go home!!
2/17/09- Finalized!!!

After dealing with infertility, IVF & a miscarriage I finally realize what God had in store for us! What a joyful time to be alive!

Hoping to add to our family SOON!
June 2006- First meeting with agency. Not married long enough, need to wait 1 year.
March 2007- homestudy begins, but then put on hold for 1 year.
June 2008- Back in the saddle again
September 2008- Homestudy approved, now just WAITING!!
February 2009- Presented with baby born situation, but declined based upon multiple issues.
September 2009- Expectant couple due in February is choosing between us and another couple.
November 2009- It's a match, and it's a BOY!
