OMG Storm, How aweful and terrifying. Thank God Little E is OK..
I have nothing else to add as my jaw nearly hit the floor after reading the word "accident and mirror"
I just wanted to add that accidents happen so there is no need to blame yourself.
Now you know what mr neighbor asked if you would bring a play pen. He probably knows that his house is an accident waiting to happen with a toddler in the mix.
even still toddlers manage to find accidents in the best of child proof houses. My son once managed to pull a wire attached to a lamp behind a sofa and side table. What looked like impossible he managed to do by yanking on a wire that was well hidden. My friend's house is childproofed an no child has ever managed to do what my little bull in a china shop did. He apparently hid under a side table lifted the side of the carpeting and yanked. Trust me the wire was well hidden and whenever my friend would have to unplug it the sofa had to be moved as well as the table.. He managed and ended up with a couple of cuts to boot.
