Sunday. Because I'm at "high risk" for high toxics being built up in my body, they said I would be much more successful if I eased in. I'm doing a faster ease than they suggest (which was a week of each of the follow...I'm doing 2 days)

2 days No meat (should be no meat, no dairy, but I'm removing dairy at the last possible second...I live for milk)

2 days all Raw foods...only uncooked fruits and veggies

2 days of Juicing. We have an awesome juicer so I'll pull the book out and have some fun these two days and I'll try really hard NOT to think of it as two extra days without food (you can see how successful that is right now!)

Today was my first no meat day...which was easy, I used to be vegetarian...So I'll do raw foods wed/thur and then juice on Friday/Sat (both days I don't work...which works great) and then I start Sunday with TMC. I would love it (and be really proud of myself) if I can do 5 days...we'll see, I've only ever done liquid cleanses before for EOD for a week, raw foods in between...it's been years though.

One thing I have to say is that the more momentum you gain, the better you do! It's like when you are on a diet, and you say no to that first bowl of ice cream all the sudden your body says...I CAN DO THIS!

Hopefully it will be like that!

Butta i'll find out exactly how she does it. She is the best thing to come out of last night. The cocktail party was partially to introduce us and she is soooooo cool!

Thanks E is GREAT. a little banged up but just fine! and I'm doing better too LOL it was far worse for his parents than it was for him.

I am so glad to hear that E is OK. When I was reading your thread yesterday I was thinking "Is she making this up because it is just too horrific to have actually happened!" I honestly did not even know what to say, so I am so glad to hear all is well

That was how it was for me when I managed to not succumb to the birthday cake and pizza on Saturday (my first day!) night. Also, I think that the thought that (probably starting today or tomorrow) I could not just stop the cleanse and have a burger, without getting sick, so there is even more incentive to keep on. I will be closely studying the "easing out" though!

I haven't looked into the ease out phase yet. I think I heard that it's similar to the ease in...

Butta I wish I made it up! With me its always high drama ....I don't know why. The entire family getting soooo sick over Christmas we took up an entire floor of the ER on Christmas day.....I mean WHO DOES THAT HAPPEN TO?

And I thought THAT was bad! That was NOTHING!

When should I start the cleanse! I'm totally into it now! I need to forget the last month and cleanse myself of the horrible memory of it! I'm sure I'm totally toxic from all the adrenalin!

UGH!!! I'll be the weakest link in your chain...

Maybe this will help, this is from the book:

Summing Up A Day On The Master Cleanse

Alright you’ve rounded up your supplies, here’s what an average day on the Master Cleanse is like.

1. It’s best to start your day with one of 3 laxatives (psyllium husk, sea salt, or laxative tea) because they’re more effective on a empty stomach.

2. Next you can make yourself a glass of lemonade using fresh lemons, cayenne pepper, and grade B maple syrup. You can use flavored herbal tea (decaffeinated) for taste and hoodia gordonii to help subdue your hunger if you choose, but it’s optional. You might also want to make a whole days worth of lemonade at this time rather than making it glass by glass. You can find the recipe in the above section.

3. I like to alternate between a glass of water and lemonade. Remember the goal is to flush out your system so be sure to get plenty of fresh filtered water. Try and drink my body weight in ounces of water, but the more the better.

4. Throughout the day continue drinking lemonade and water

5. Before bed take another laxative (psyllium husk, sea salt, or laxative tea)

That’s all there is to it. You might be thinking “there’s no way I can do that”, but trust me it’s not that hard after your body adjusts, (usually after the 2nd or 3rd day).

If you have any other questions that I can help with I would be happy to try to answer them

Great Job OP!

I am doing a two day mini-cleanse today and tomorrow but you have motivated me to start a 10 to 14 day cleanse next week...I will start on Tuesday. (My in laws are in town and taking the kids for the weekend and DH and I are going out to 'adult' dinners Friday and Saturday...so I am waiting since this is a very rare treat for us!.)

Good luck to all!
