Day #3

Aclee, I would check with your doc first but I am on BP meds and it is not a problem, as far as being on the cleanse...

Mondk; it is not actually ALL about diarrhea Although there is a lot of "elimination" LOL involved as you are only taking in liquids for 10 days. I posted a link in a previous post that explains it really well.
I would advise anyone to check with your doctor first before starting TMC, if you have even the slightest concerns.

OK, time for another glass of lemonade! whooo hooo! :P

Thanks guys The support is so great and helps a lot so

My family is being supportive but... they are still eating! LOL I am trying to stay home much of the time and away from temptation!

So far Day #3 has been (I am a little scared to jinx things by saying this) e a s y I am still not hungry and not craving or obsessing about food as much as I was the last couple of days. I am trying to drink as much water as they say you should (an ounce for every pound you weigh ), but it is tough! I figure that I AM drinking the amount of lemonade I am supposed to + the 32oz of water with the salt water flush in the morning (doesn't that 32oz count??), plus another 60+ oz of H2O during the day, so I will keep working in it. I am getting the lemonade down much easier with doing the cayenne as a shot, in fact I am probably taking in more cayenne by doing it that way

Whoo hooo, on to Day #4

Thank you for the support, I swear I check on here several times a day and the kind words and support really help

And the problem with the water is it is all supposed to be distilled water! I can't afford that and our tap water, in Hawai'i, is supposed to be pretty good, so that is my one cheat (so far!): I bought distilled water for the lemonade but for my "other" drinking water I have been drinking regular ole tap water...

My friend made it 8 days..said she was doing it to detoxify, not to lose weight..She is already a stick figure so she really doesn't need to lose weight anyway...

She says she has done it several times before and has gone the full 10 days everytime except this one...

A neighbor we just met (and was with us last night!!!!) does it 4 times a year for 6 years. She swears by it!

She highly recommends it but she skps the salt water part. She goes 10 days each time!

all I can say is that I hope everyone is around when I actually get to the cleanse part! Support makes all the difference in the world. Having someone go before me make it so much better

I'm on day one of no meat. I'm hoping if I prep my body for the cleanse I'll make it to 5 days, but we'll see. I could technically fit in the whole 10 days before Ty's party on the 31st. I'm telling myself 3-5. If I go longer...fabulous, if I don't? That's still good. Heck I'm having a hard time remembering I can't eat gluten! Talk about a subconscious eater...

How do you guys manage without food?

I get severe headaches if I go without a foodgroup.

Like if I go a few days without meat or a few days without carbs or whatever, I get major migraines...

i get headaches but I've fasted before and if you can break through that (drink lots of water which i assume you are allowed on this diet) it's such an amazing feeling.

Also, maybe the concoction helps the headaches...the syrup i would think would help keep your blood sugar up.

Go Aclee! I will be interested to hear how it goes with "easing in". I think it is a great idea. I have not got one patient bone in my body so I knew I just had to jump in At the beginning I felt that if I can do the 3-5 days I will be satisfied. But now, this moment, almost done with Day #3 I feel that I can do the full 10, no problem... we will see. I am just happy to have made it this far. Not so headachy today either, yay! As I said before I suffer from pretty terrible migraines too and was concerned with that going into it but I think with the not feeling hungry (drinking lots of water as well as at least 60oz of the lemonade) and the balance of the ingredients... I don't know, it just seems to work! I definitely had some headaches the first couple of days, but NOTHING like migraines, totally tolerable.

Storm (I don't even know what to say about your horrible experience with the neighbor, but I hope everything is OK with poor E. Did you get him checked with your ped today?): I am curious if the woman you met uses the laxitive tea instead of the salt water? I really have no problem with the salt water and I like the fact that it works so quickly and is then over (after a few times! LOL). I have heard some stories about the tea taking a longer time to work so it is harder to plan your day.
