Can I use Turbo Tax with this? Is there an additional form and if so can i E-file with it?

last year's version had it, I would think this year's has it too.

we're using it and last year's did have it. it will ask you a series of questions about your adoption, whether it's final, etc.

Yep, sure can! As you go through and it asks all the questions to get credits and deductions, it will ask if you adopted. Answer yes then it will ask if you finalized. Then you have to put in additional info, but I don't remember exactly what. Agency info, I think, finances, etc. I used it last year, e-filed, and had more than 10k direct deposited into my checking account in mid-February! I will do it again this year, too!

We used it and got more back than H&R Block said we would! Last year, that is. We'll see how this year goes.

We weren't eligible for the entire credit the first time around, so we can use the remainder this year. At least, that's what we were told.

You have up to 5 years to use the entire credit. I used it the last 2 years and I will likely be able to use it for this year and next year before I have used it all up.

We used Turbo Tax every year and it was very simple with our 2004 adoption, walked us right through it!

We did not have a high enough liability to use all of it. So, we will use the rest of Cameron's and start on Spencer's this year.

Yes-I actually use TaxAct because it's cheaper and it has it. TurboTax definitely has it.

We finalized just before the end of the year and are planning to use Tax Cut -- same thing as turbo.

Is there any other documentation we need to send in, like how you send in your W2?

We don't send it in when we use Turbo Tax. We fill out all the info from it though.

Do you have to have a SSN for the child, or will the ATIN work for Turbo Tax???
