If you can and want both, go for it! If not, you'll have to just follow your heart. We got chosen for two babies at once and it was hard to choose knowing we would let one birthmom down. In the end, we made the perfect choice for us. Good luck!

I agree that if you can and want to do both, then by all means!!! But if not, I also agree to go with your heart. And, if you are religious, prayer is always helpful.

Good luck!!!

The only thing I can say is that you probably need to tell the moms in each situation if you decide to "go for" the other as well (unless: are TPRs already signed on the 1.5 yo?).

I think it is so wonderful! And I hope both situations work out!!

I would go for both also The worst that could happen is you went from a family of two one day to a family of four the next! Many people on here have done that, many adopt one and a few weeks later adopt another I am sure with some love he will be walking, my friends son was behind with walking and he is from a stay at home mom...so no reason not to walk, he just started walking in Sept and he will be two in March! I can advise you to wear the newborn as this will allow you to have your hands free with the toddler. Peg Prego makes a great double light weight folds flat fits in trunk aria stroller Perfect for kids of different ages and fits through the doors and isles. Britax makes a great toddler seat that he can stay in until 85 pounds so you won't have to buy so many seats! I will pray that both work out for you because in the end this toddler (is a toddler who NEEDS A HOME) and from what you have typed and all you could give him all the love an attention he needs. I will pray for you and your DH! Also praying for the pbmom who is thinking and deciding about placing, and for this little toddler who has no a clue what is happening and is moments away from meeting his forever family.

God Bless,
Summer

Wow!! How exciting! When it rains, it pours, huh? I could tell you what I would do, but I don't think it really matters. You both have to do what feels right in your hearts. I will definitely keep you in my thoughts and prayers, though.
