The first thing I learned about the adoption process is to expect the unexpected, as that's all you can count on.
Hang in there and don't give up! Tomorrow might bring its own surprises.

Sandra, hang in there. I think you are smart to let things with the toddler play out. I am hoping that you get good news tomorrow....
I remember something my mother saying to me when I was struggling for years to have a child: "Good waiters make good tips!" I wanted to throttle her, so I won't repeat it. But I know you have had a long wait and I hope you are a mom soon!!

Thanks guys, good or bad- tomorrows the day!!!! We're so nervous, excited, concerned for PBM, just ready for an answer!!! It's so humbling to know what could make us so happy could in turn have the opposite effect on PBM...
At least we know we gave her time and room to make her choice without pressure in anyway. Guys, thanks for keeping the faith and for sending good thoughts and prayers! We can do this!!!! I'll keep you all posted! Sandra

1993 decided to start a family 1995 discovered problems 1995-1998 fertility Drs and surgeries 1999-2003 break from it all 2003-2005 thought about adoption but trying to find a way to afford it. 2006 decided to do whatever it took to create a family. Money should not decide a family! January 2006 gathering information applying for homestudy. July 2006 homestudy completed- we are officially waiting! July 06-March 09 Several situations that didn't work out.. Our baby will find us, until then...We are 4-everwaiting for our angel  It finally happened after over 2.5 years of waiting, our angel found us!!! ... Baby Girl Born March 10th! Home forever March 19th, 2009

Aug-Signed w/ agency....canceled w/ agency.
9/18/08-10pm, got call about little girl born early that morning! We've been chosen and need to be there to pick up baby from the hospital!!!!! Sept-Started HS; 3 visits: 9/2/08, 9/15/08, 9/18/08 9/15/08-Got a call about a little girl on the 12th. Profile shown. Not chosen. 9/15/08-MATCHED!! 9/17/08-Unmatched do to situation being too difficult... 9/17/08-Profile being shown to birthmom that has given birth!!! Never heard back 9/19/08-Met baby, birthmom, and birthmom's mother!!! 9/20/08-Discharged from hospital with baby!!! 10/2/08-ICPC paperwork submitted....FINALLY! Only a few more days until we can go home!!!  10/7/08-ICPC granted! We're home!!!
Only 16 days from start of home study to holding our beautiful daughter in our arms! God works miracles!!
