Holy Cow!!!!!!

I have been worried Baby A is delayed. (His doctor is too). He hardly ever rolled over (tummy to back) and didn't move as much as he should.

In the past 2 days we can't keep him on his tummy. He rolls over instantly. He gets up on his hands and knees and tries to crawl. And just a minute ago HE PULLED UP!!!!!! He turned 6mo old on Friday.I am no longer worried about him being delayed

He done all this with his first cold

Thankfully DH was close by to get a picture.

Oh man what a cute baby!

You know, DD wasn't moving around much at 6 months either... She started crawling 2 weeks ago. And neither of them ever rolls to their back except in their crib... Some babies just are not rollers, and take their sweet time!

That's great news! It sounds like everything is happening all at once. Babies are something else. They do things in their own time.

Wow - 6 months is really early for pulling up too!

Little C is 7 months & rolls like crazy but no crawling or pulling up yet..each kid is so different.

Bic C scooted on his butt, then crawled finally at 11 mon, walking (no I should say RUNNING) by 13 mo.!

So happy for you! We had the same concerns about my daughter. She NEVER rolled over until she was nearly 6 months old. I was freaking out with worry. Then, just like your son, she just exploded with development one day. And then, at 9.5 months, she started walking! So, get that house baby-proofed

Our DD took her 1st step at 8.5 months. By the time she was 9mo she was all over the place.

I was worried about Ty cause he was still army crawling. In the last 2 days (when he finally spent some time on carpet instead of hardwood) he's been getting up on all fours and he's cracking himself up over it. He's also kneeling to play with toys with is new.

I think just like adults, sometimes it take a while to "get it" and then once it clicks you can't stop them. Ty know the exact places where he can pull up on something now, and will race over to them

What a cute little guy!!!! That is a huge relief isn't it? We went through a similar experience with our little guy. he wasn't doing hardly anything at six months, and then he figured out how to roll over, sit up, scoot, pull himself up and climb stairs all in the next six weeks. And he hasn't stopped moving since!!!! Have fun with Little A!

YEA! Castle has been consistantly delayed in everything from day one. The good think and the one thing that keeps me from worrying is that when she does it SHE DOES IT! She didn't crawl, didn't pull up and didn't creep around furniture when you stood her up but one day, when she was 16 months old she stood up in the middle of the floor and ran and hasn't stopped yet. She is now 4.5 and although she has not learned her ABC or to count I have no fear that she will just start singing one day soon and there we'll be. I have decided that this is the "norm" for her so remember that every one is different and does things at a pace that is right for them.
