Both of my boys have extraordinary memories. I think that's common with kids.

My oldest son has always blown our minds too. When he was 18 months old and we were driving to church, he saw the digital clock in the van and said, "It's 9:20." We said, "yes, church starts at 9:30 how long do we have?" Without a pause he said, "10 minutes." He's always been that way. Great with numbers and figuring things out. He is in the advanced class at school but he is just in 2nd grade and they don't test for gifted until 4th. Either way, it doesn't bother me. He is being challenged and that is what counts to me.

My youngest is more average, but again, with an extraordinary memory. Maybe it isn't extraordinary and it is common with little ones? I'm not sure.
