I just wanted to say hi to everyone on here...I have found such support and strength from reading other people's posts and having you read mine.

I think one negative thing that happens is that when our dreams finally come true, we get so busy that we stop posting. What the families still waiting need to know is that we're still out there, we're just not online as much anymore.

So, my story is coming to a happy-ever-after point. After 2 years with a TERRIBLE agency (during which time I was on these posts a LOT!), we signed on with a new agency and were matched very quickly. That match didn't work out, but 2 weeks later, we got another call and now we have our beautiful 3-month-old son! His mother's surrender was official and irrevocable yesterday, so we should be finalizing in the early part of the year. HOORAY!

If you're still in the trenches, don't lose hope! If you're on the other side, keep giving encouragement and let's keep each other going.
