Guidance Please?
Hey everyone,
I've posted on here a few times but now I'm posting a thread of a different sort! Today at work, I was informed of a situation where there is a 2-3 month old baby whom the family is looking to place for adoption. This was through a co-worker of mine, not the agency. We are supposed to call the family tomorrow to "discuss this". I sent along a copy of our profile to show the family as well. HELP US PLEASE!! What do we say? What do we not say? What should we ask? Any help would be greatly appreciated!! ![]()

Be yourself. Don't feel like you are interviewing, feel like you are making friends. When we talked to our dd bmom a few days before she was born, we first talked mainly about them. We did care about them (even if we didn't know them) we didn't want them to think we were thinking "GIVE ME YOUR BABY" because that is not how we felt. we truely wanted to know them and their situation and be there reguardless if they ended wanting us to adopt their baby or not. Keep us posted.
